Meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood Team
Hello & Welcome to this meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood post! You might have read all about us already, but in case you didn’t… Well, here we are!
The Spaghetti Sisterhood was born as a side project to our main blog, The Grumpy Olive. As you can see, we have a thing for fancy-sounding names and we couldn’t do any less for this one. But now that we have gone full-time content creating in Italy, this side project has suddenly become as important as the first. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll open even more (no thanks!).
But as for this one, well, meet the Spaghetti Sisterhood team! We are Simona & Cristina, two-thirds of a trio of sisters. We love food and we love eating. And we also love creating, narrating and writing, so our strongest passions are all under one umbrella! Or two umbrellas, but you do get the gist, am I right?
So let’s go ahead and show off our team, then you’ll also be able to find out what this blog is all about.

Meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood Team
Simona
30-something-year-old, she is the cook in the family. Loves to talk about food, eating food and just all around being food. If that was even a thing, you know? She has been a food & drinks brand consultant in London and loved to write a good email or two. Happens to also be the IT department of the blog and household. She has no formal IT education but can speak 4 languages and loves foreign literature more than anything else.
Something more about Simona? Let’s see – an Animal Crossing fanatic and lover of all things Gilmore Girls, she is the master champion & queen of procrastination. Can go for days without eating her veggies and fruit (bad, she knows!) but do not touch her coffee. Or try to serve her decaf, she’ll know. She just got a sausage dog, named him Otis and wants to fill her house with them one day. One little sausage at a time! Shares a cat (THE cat himself!) – a beautiful 16-year-old Birman named TJ, so you might see him around here too.
Pasta lover, will ditch all her plans and dreams for Carbonara. And you will see her refuse pizza because pasta is her only belief.

Cristina – Meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood
In her late 20s, Cristina is not averse to cooking the food but prefers to eat said food. She was a barista in London and still is a coffee lover, with a passion for food, the common denominator here. Cristina wants to be a writer. She has a strong passion for binge-watching K Dramas and for reading, and it’s bound you’ll find her reading a book (or two, or three, at the same time) hiding somewhere quiet with her headphones on.
Something else you should know about Cristina? Well – I guess we should avoid the embarrassing stuff. Cristina is a lover of video games too and likes a good snack. She loves filter coffee and likes to drink litres of water every day (making Simona feel guilty in the process). Wants to adopt all the animals, and is mum to a whippet named Miso. Wants to travel Italy in a car, road trip style, from north to south. Has sarcasm to sell for years, and loves a good argument with Fred.
Cristina is a lover of pasta and dessert alike. She does not judge, unless you want to be judged.

So you did meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood team.
And what about what we will be discussing on this blog? When you meet The Spaghetti Sisterhood team it might have come through. But just in case you did not catch it…
